Operations and Algebraic Thinking

Operations and algebraic thinking is understanding addition as putting together and adding to, and understanding subtraction as taking apart and taking from.

Ten Frame can be played several ways.  You can choose how many?, build, fill, add, or play all.  In this game you can move chips to the 10 frame to show a given number, practice addition, figure out how many more chips are needed to equal a number, or move chips to the 10 frame as instructed by the computer.  To make the game more challenging choose "play all" and try all variations in one game.  Give it a try!
